The National Festival of Making provides opportunities for the media to witness, first-hand the value, expertise and social value of UK making, from internationally-renowned designers to multi-generational family manufacturers and artisan food producers. It is set at the heart of British manufacturing, the Northern Powerhouse of Blackburn, Lancashire, where 25% of the population is still employed in making.

For the latest information about The National Festival of Making, please also visit the News pages, where the latest press releases, as well as project updates, blogs from the festival team and more can be read. Programme information can be found throughout the website as it is announced.
