Making a Living

Supporting maker entrepreneurs, artisans and future industrialists to make business happen

We’re celebrating both the modern and historic story of makers – artisans, creators, entrepreneurs, industrialists and visionaries who have the guts to MAKE. We’re also promoting essential business development opportunities for new and existing makers, networking and trading platforms.

Throughout the festival weekend, artists, makers and designers – selected for the quality and originality of their work – will be trading in a marketplace curated by Hopeful & Glorious, whilst young makers will have the opportunity to sell their wares at the Teenage Market.

In the run-up to the weekend, join the Business Innovation for Growth Conference (BIG) with Creative Lancashire for a series of panels, workshops and seminars taking place at unique manufacturer locations in Pennine Lancashire. Take part in a series of conversations with industry experts specialising in everything from fashion to sculpture.
