2025 Festival Dates: 5 & 6 July

Makers Market by Hopeful & Glorious

The UK’s most exciting independent makers gather inside Blackburn Cathedral for the National Festival of Making Makers Market on Saturday.

Handpicked by expert curators, Hopeful & Glorious, find emerging and established crafters, traders and artists bringing handmade jewellery, homewares, limited edition fashion items and artworks with numerous one-off products in this vibrant marketplace… there really is something for everyone!

The Makers Market will take place on Saturday 6th July only.

Hopeful & Glorious create high-quality events for artists, makers and designers from across the North. Based in Lancashire, Hopeful and Glorious love to work with talented makers, interesting venues and great organisations to produce colourful events to exhibit and sell art.

Their fairs and markets provide opportunities for visitors to meet the makers, hear about the techniques and inspirations and see a brilliant range of art, craft and design with artists specially selected for each event.
