Design, print and stitch your own piece of community bunting in the Caravanalogue – a quirky retro touring caravan packed with analogue and hand-powered creative tools.

Join artists Kerris & Leonie and help co-create a colourful piece of community bunting by designing and lino-printing your own flag, then stitch it onto the ever-growing string using hand-turned Singer sewing machines.

Presented by The Bureau Centre for the Arts, supported by the Creative Alliance and funded through the Place Partnership.

About Caravanalogue

Artists Kerris and Leonie have been restoring and renovating a vintage caravan in order to develop a mobile touring analogue workshop space. This space is people powered and uses no electric hook up, helping people see that there are environmental and DIY options when it comes to creativity, and that high spec unaffordable technology is not essential and that creativity is in your hands and minds and not in expensive equipment.

About The Bureau Centre for the Arts

The Bureau Centre for the Arts is an independent grass roots community arts centre. It offers a year round programme of arts and creative engagement programmes, activities, events, exhibitions and performances for people of all ages and backgrounds from Blackburn and the surrounding areas.

The Bureau is a place for people from the different & diverse communities of Blackburn (particularly those who historically face barriers to participation) to experience, share and create art and culture.

Their mission is to create a space for arts and culture in Blackburn which provides accessible opportunities for artists, participants and audiences and supports a vibrant and diverse creative community.
