Front Room Factories

Art in Manufacturing’s portrait of eight kitchen-table makers showcases the forefront of the domestic manufacturing revolution.

Co-commissioned by Super Slow Way and The National Festival of Making, O Production’s Front Room Factories is an intimate and inspiring portrait of Lancashire’s home-based makers. Eight domestic creators invited Front Room Factories through their front doors, revealing an industry producing fusion pies, ceramics, cigar box guitars, african biscuits, petrol can lights, tableware, jewellery and more.

A reminder of just how much you can do with what you have, Front Room Factories champions the creative spirits working in our midst.
