Massive art time! The Making Rooms are giving their huge computer controlled router the weekend off from cutting through wood for a well deserve relaxing arty break. The machine (nicknamed Betty) will spend the festival weekend gently colouring an enormous car-sized image Blackburn. This hypnotic merging of movement and colour will be live-streamed throughout the weekend for everyone to come marvel at this incredible piece of technology.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing next month, the team at The Making Rooms been hard at work creating a solar-system-necklace-making-machine! Come by their lab, type in your birthdate and you can take away with you a unique necklace showing where the planets were on the day you were born.
