2025 Festival Dates: 5 & 6 July

Education

As part of a year-round programme and annual festival, the National Festival of Making engages with schools locally and nationally providing opportunities for young people and teachers alike.

The National Festival of Making strives to engage young people across its programme – working closely with partners, the festival has engaged more than 3000 students in the past few years.

With opportunities from KS1 to University students, we have been able to support and champion creative learning and career opportunities in the Arts & Culture sector.

We do this by, but not limited to: exhibition tours, industry talks, school days, creative workshops, STEAM-based activities, graduate commissions, mentoring, internships and volunteering opportunities.

If you work in a school and would like to know more please email: emma@decopublique.co.uk or sign up for the festival’s mailing list for any upcoming opportunities.
