The Blackburn Festival of Light CIC is a community arts organisation focused on parades and light events with the aim of bringing communities together to create new, shared traditions for the town. Through their work they look to raise aspirations, build community and support local people to take part in activites together and make memories. As well as organising the annual Blackburn Festival of Light parade each year in December, they run workshops and a weekly community drumming group from the Bureau Centre for the Arts, based on Exchange Street in the heart of Blackburn.
