Have A Go Wheel Throw

If you have ever wanted to try making a clay pot using a potters wheel, this is a great opportunity to experience this fun and exciting technique. 

 

 

Pendle Pottery Studio are returning to the Festival to offer pre-bookable potters wheel taster sessions. During the one hour session, visitors can learn the basic techniques to enable you to create your very own clay pot. You can then take this pot home to air dry.

 


Workshop Information: 

  • Suitable for ages 10+. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
  • This workshop is £7.50 per person
  • There are 6 places available for each session
  • The workshops will last approx 1 hour
  • Advanced booking recommended

The workshop is taking place at Prism Contemporary Gallery, 20 Lord Street West. The venue has single step access and therefore is unfortunately not accessible to people who use a wheelchair.

Please arrive at the venue 5 minutes before the workshop. Unfortunately, your place may be allocated to a participant on the waiting list in the event of late arrival.

 


 

Pendle Pottery Studio is a vibrant and busy ceramics studio based in Pendle Lancashire. The studio is owned and run by Stella Boothman, who studied Fine Art at Blackburn College University Centre and went on to set up her own Ceramics business. Stella teaches hand building and wheel thrown pottery classes in her dedicated teaching space at Pendle Pottery Studio. The studio also offers a wide array of fun creative clay courses and regular weekly classes as well as studio membership and creative wellbeing workshops.
