2025 Festival Dates: 5 & 6 July

Creative Skills Workshops with Blackburn College

Find some of the departments here in the marquee on Museum Street and get hands on with a range of making activities from Art & Design, ESOL, Sport, Media and Hospitality!

Try out screen-printing and badge-making, collaborate on a large art piece, learn about the history of Venetian masks, head back to the roaring 20’s and make a Charleston-inspired headband, and plan your own paper pizza, designing a healthy feast!

At Blackburn Library, you’ll find more creative activity from Blackburn College. Decorate a kite taking inspiration from myths & legends across the world, get stuck into maths puzzles such as code-breaking, Tessellation, Cryptograms and Tangrams, and join Foundation Learning to plant a seed and watch it grow throughout the Summer at home.
