2025 Festival Dates: 5 & 6 July

Slow Stitching with Revamp Racoon & Good Things Collective

Explore fabric and embroidery in a workshop all about playful experimentation, no pressure, just the freedom to create whatever you like.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or a confident sewist, you’ll be supported in designing and stitching your own unique piece to take home. Artist Wendy O’Hara will be there to share tips, techniques, and encouragement throughout.

Revamp Raccoon is a textiles studio led by artist Wendy O’Hara and based at Good Things Collective. Wendy’s fully-equipped textiles studio hosts a range of creative clubs and activities, supporting anyone to build their skills in sewing and other textiles methods. Wendy has also worked on large-scale projects, including an (unofficial world’s largest) cyanotype community portrait exhibited at the RIBA, London in 2018; and creates textile artworks for community projects, such as a wearable model of Plover Scar lighthouse.

Good Things Collective is a grassroots, community-led CIC supporting creative, social and sustainable ideas and practice.
