Leather Workshop with Diamond Awl

Students will try their hand at traditional hand stitching and make either a coin purse or card holder using high quality vegetable tanned leather.

 

Personalise your item with your own choice of thread colour and initials. Walk away with a new skill and your very own handmade item and see if this your future calling! 

Diamond Awl are here to show you the way in this heritage craft skill.

BUILDING ACCESS INFORMATION: This heritage building is currently undergoing refurbishment works and as such long term level access will be designed into the building during the renovation however short term and for the purpose of the Festival of Making this building is unsuitable for wheelchair users and users with restricted mobility as level access throughout the building is not currently available.
