On-board attractions include a fully operational 3D virtual reality integrated welding simulator, the latest UAV technology and a tracked 3D virtual reality system where participants can dismantle virtual jet engines. A 3D printer, will be printing small demonstration pieces live. There’s an interactive SteamVR Vive motion tracked system that teleports you into and around virtual settings. Seven interactive screens provide customisable content focusing on two key areas; advanced machining with technologies such as tooling optimisation, damping and post machining inspection & advanced assembly including GPS, laser alignment, smart tooling, virtual assembly and robotic technologies.
