Facebook competition – terms and conditions

 

The promoter is: Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council with the organisers behind the National Festival of Making. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary to enter this competition.

 

Multiple entries from the same person will be accepted.

 

Closing date for entry will be Wednesday, June 12 at midnight.

 

After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

 

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

 

The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

 

· Entrants must like the competition Facebook post – whether it is on the Blackburn with Darwen Council page or National Festival of Making page.
· In the comments section, tag three friends.
The promoters, named above, reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice.

 

The prize is as follows:

· £100 Mall voucher
· £50 A Mano voucher
· £100 Festival of Making voucher – £50 to be used at the food and drink stalls/ £50 for the Maker’s Market at King George’s Hall on either June 15 or June 16.
· One day free parking at The Mall, Blackburn, over the Festival weekend- either June 15 or June 16

 

The winner will be picked at random from the likes on both the Blackburn with Darwen Council competition post and also the National Festival of Making competition post. There is one prize bundle.

 

The winner will be notified by Facebook Messenger on Thursday, June 13 and announced on the Blackburn with Darwen Council Facebook page and National Festival of Making Facebook page.

 

If the winner cannot be contacted before noon on Friday, June 14, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

 

The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry.
