2025 Festival Dates: 5 & 6 July

Polonez Manchester: Polish Folk Ensemble

Performing two traditional Polish folk dances, don’t miss Polonez Manchester on Sunday. You might even get the opportunity to learn a few steps!

The first dance will be Polonez, a regal dance, performed by the nobility of Poland at balls. This will be followed by Kujawiak from the region of Kujawy, one of the main national dances of Poland telling the story of young love, loss and devotion. The group perform in stunning handmade and hand-embroidered costumes from the Lowicz region.

Performance times: 12 pm | 2:30 pm

Polonez Manchester is a Polish folk ensemble that is celebrating a 75th anniversary this year. Having twice performed for the Royal Family, they are passionate about sharing folk, dance and Polish traditions. All costumes are handmade and hand embroidered in workshops in Poland.
