Art in Manufacturing: I See A Voice, Sam Belinfante + Panaz

Sam Belinfante is an artist living and working in London. Along with filmmaking and photographic work, his practice incorporates curating, sound and performance.

As part of Art in Manufacturing London-based artist Sam Belinfante has been in residency with industry leader Panaz. Inspired by Shakespeare and optical effects, Belinfante will create a striking physical environment and performative experience.

Textiles have the capacity to conjure illusion and narrative; to speak through and from within the warp and weft. This installation and performative experience from Sam Belinfante was developed in partnership with leading fabric innovators Panaz. During the residency, the artist has investigated Moire patterns and the optical effects induced through the movement of sheer fabrics, to be experienced large scale within a striking physical environment at The Cotton Exchange.

This exhibition has low level lighting and features lighting effects with moving and flashing lights.

This exhibition will also be open from 13th-15th July.
