2025 Festival Dates: 5 & 6 July

CONVERSATIONS IN CREATIVITY: George Clarke

Join us for a special event with George Clarke — architect, television presenter, lecturer, and writer, best known for his work on Channel 4’s The Home Show, George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces, and more.

Conversations in Creativity is a series of talks and insightful interviews where creatives from across disciplines explore how inspiration, often from around the world, informs their practice and process.

In 2025 we welcome George Clarke to National Festival of Making — architect, television presenter, lecturer, and writer, best known for his work on Channel 4’s The Home Show, George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces, Restoration Man and more.

George has built a portfolio of businesses including a design studio, a construction company, and several property development businesses. He has also founded his own education charity, ‘MOBIE’, which aims to inspire young people to create sustainable homes for their future and has engaged students at Teesside University in design challenges for a number of years.

George will be in conversation with Festival Co-founder Wayne Hemingway MBE.

This talk is a Conversations in Creativity event delivered in partnership with Creative Lancashire.
