2024 Festival Dates: 6 & 7 July

Fantastical Fairground Embroidery

Taking inspiration from the glorious tents of Mughal India, artist Saima Kaur will be inviting you to her hand stitched ‘Fantastical Fairground’ tent.

One of our three festival commissions, this brand new piece of work will be experienced for the first time over the festival weekend.

Come and view the beautiful embroidery and add your own creations to the ever-growing artwork.

Saima Kaur is a Yorkshire-based artist specialising in hand embroidery inspired by the folk arts of India. Her artwork has a strong illustrative quality and focuses on storytelling through stitch. She regularly sells her artwork through interiors platforms, online galleries and private commissions.
