2024 Festival Dates: 6 & 7 July

Giant Collaborative Lino Printing

Come along and add to a huge collaborative print!

During this workshop, printmaker George will teach you the lino printing skills needed to make our big festival print.

Be sure to return at 4.15pm to help ink, press and roll and witness the big reveal!

This activity is suitable for age 13+ only.

George Murphy is a self-taught artist, printmaker and creative educator. They first started making art during a period of illness so that people would stop telling them to get a hobby, and have been doing it ever since. Most of their prints are a bit wonky and are hand-pressed using a metal spoon. George loves creating art with others and is interested in exploring its potential as a medium for connection and social change. They have facilitated workshops for people of all ages and are passionate about making art accessible (and fun!) for everybody. They believe there is no such thing as bad drawing.
