Visitors will have the chance to join in, learn a few steps, and feel the joy of Bhangra for themselves by following our expert dancers – suitable for all ages. Punjabi Roots is one of the UK’s leading South Asian arts organisations, specialising in high-energy cultural experiences that celebrate the rich traditions of Punjab while embracing the vibrancy of modern fusion. Founded by Davinder Singh, the academy brings together world-class performers, educators, and creatives to deliver unforgettable shows and workshops in Bhangra dance, Dhol drumming, Indian brass bands, and more.

With a strong focus on education, inclusion, and community cohesion, Punjabi Roots has delivered cultural programmes across schools, festivals, museums, and major public events, engaging audiences of all ages and backgrounds. From dynamic stage performances to hands-on participatory sessions, the team is passionate about making South Asian culture accessible, exciting, and relevant.
