2025 Festival Dates: 5 & 6 July

Suco Samba

Suco samba is a Burnley-based drumming group that brings people together to enjoy the spirit of carnival, performance and music making.

The group has a particular focus on promoting wellbeing through being both active and creative in one activity. Taking influence from the music of Brazil and beyond, Suco Samba aims to brighten up every event and bring happiness and funky beats to audiences all across the North West.

Performance times: 12 pm | 2 pm

Suco Samba was established in 2015 to help bring people together and improve their wellbeing, as well as help reduce stress and anxiety, through community band drumming. The aims of the organisation are to help people learn how to play a variety of instruments and rhythms in a fun atmosphere without needing previous experience in playing the drums or music.
