Super Slow Way’s Jingle Shed

Make a radio jingle for Drift Radio, in the Jingle Shed on Cathedral Square!

Drift Radio is a mini community radio station floating onboard the Bill Hunt barge at Eanam Wharf. Over summer we will be collecting people’s stories, music and more to be part of a broadcast hosted and produced by young people from the local community on Saturday 31st August. As part of our Drift Residency and Jingle Shed at Festival of Making, we’ll have some instruments for you to use to make your own jingle! We’re also looking out for more instruments, so whether that’s an old school Casio keyboard, xylophone, toy trumpet, kazoo or whistle, bring along anything that makes a noise!

Any instruments you bring along can be taken back home with you, or left for other Jingle Shed participants to use.

DRIFT: is a collaboration with Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council’s Young People’s Services.
